A Little About The New Guy...

First I would like to thank Darla for this great opportunity to contribute to her blog. Like Darla, I have a passion for mobile devices and gadgets of all varieties. Some of you may know me from Howard Forums, where I have been a long time member and moderate the S60 and T-Mobile USA forums. My mobile roots extend beyond Howard Forums however as the Hardware Manager at Handango, back when they still sold hardware and the Palm Vx and iPAQ first hit the streets. Since that time I've mostly been working in IT on the Technical Support side.
I started my S60 path back with the Nokia 3650, the first week it was released on T-Mobile. Since then I have had the pleasure of owning the Nokia 3600, 6620, N70, N73, E65 and most recently the N95-3. I've owned a few other models and brands in between there but I continue to be drawn back S60 and Nokia devices. Along the way of course I've always tried out and used nearly every S60 app known to man, far too many to count that much I do know.
My love of gadgets isn't just with mobile devices; I'm an avid lover, supporter and TiVo Enthusiast (TiVo referrals gladly accepted BTW ;-)). One of my most recent additions is the Slingbox, which I find to be an excellent product and compliments the TiVo quite well.
Like Darla, I too have made a change in my home computer. A few months back I finally made the leap to Linux (Ubuntu to be exact) as my primary OS. In future posts I'm certain I will have some tips and tricks for those using and considering making the leap for themselves.
