Some Major Blog Changes
by Darla
For the past 2 days I've been adding, removing, tweaking and hacking some elements on my site. Lol, I apologize if page loads were too long or content was missing. I'm sort of new to this, but it seems that the "almost" end result is impressive... at least to me.
After looking at my blog for the past year and a half there were some things that I grew tired of. I felt the need for a new banner, so equipped with my new custom Klonie (thanks Xen) and a display of Nokia phones (thanks Phil) I give you my new banner!
I've also changed my nav bar. At first I was going to just remove it but I like navigation. It still needs a little tweaking, but after 2 days my fingers are tired!!
Thanks to Typepadhacks.org for the hack info and Matt & Vikki for helping me with Photoshop. And a big thanks to Gina for staying up with me until 5am (EST) while I went crazy trying to figure things out and Debi for constantly refreshing her page!!
For those of you who have seen my blog regularly I would love to hear feedback on the changes or if something isn't working correctly.

Looking good!

Seems to be loading a lot faster and the content has been spaced out nicely.

Hey, pretty nice.
2 things:
In FireFox & Safari, the "search" box is right on the pink bar, but in IE (windows) it gets pushed above. I'm gussing this is probably just an IE quirk and unfixable.
In Safari the header graphic "wraps around" and the bottom of it is above the graphic. Hmm, that is hard to describe, here is a screenshot:
