What Ever Happened to Phone Etiquette?

by Darla

It seems that people now adays use their cell phones to hide behind in desperation of finding a mate.  I'm starting to see a trend here as simple every day mistakes can lead to sms annoyance or random prank phone calls.

Case in point:  A few weeks ago I was sending a message to a friend of mine who's number I knew by heart.  Lol I guess you can say I was "all thumbs" because I accidentally mis-typed a digit.  This lead to some person responding asking who I was.  When I checked and saw that I had input the wrong number I responded with an apology.  Now any other person such as myself would have just left it at that.  Wrong.  This person proceeded to send me messages asking who I was, how old I was, where I lived, do I have a man... yada yada yada.  I turned the phone off.  Hours later I turned the phone back on and 26 messages were waiting for me.  EEK!!!

Yesterday someone called me and I missed the call by a second.  I called the person back because I know personally that people sometimes just don't like leaving messages.  I hang up on my sisters voice mail all the time!  Some guy answered and I asked who he was trying to reach.  I told him that he had the wrong number.  That wasn't good enough.  He asked who I was and I asked why... then that next dumb ass question... "do you have a man?"  CLICK.

What the hell is going on?

I believe in fate but fella's note to self: Don't think that when a girl calls you by accident that it's a sign. LOL...

Never heard or seen that before but id just ignore them , they get tired of no reply and move on.
