Cingular Launches the Nokia 6102
by Darla
The Nokia 6102 is now available for Cingular Wireless customers.
The 6102 is priced at $89.99 with new activation of a 2 year contract.
T-Mobile launched its Nokia 6101 (surprisingly on schedule) on September 12. I'm still trying to determine the difference between the 2 phones. Both phones are 850/1800/1900 MHz
Features:
- Downloadable polyphonic/full-audio ringtones, graphics and games
- Dual color LCD screens
- Speakerphone
- Mobile Instant Messaging using AOL®, Yahoo!® and ICQ® Instant Messaging
- Voice Recorder
- FM radio (requires headset - sold separately)
- 850/1800/1900 MHz - Tri-band
- Infared Data Transfer
- Voice Commands
- Voice Dialing
- Downloadable custom themes
- Ringing tones: True Tones, Polyphonic Tones, MP3
- Notes, Calendar, To-do list, Alarm Clock and Stopwatch functionality
- Gallery for storing and editing images
- Video recording and playback

the 6102 is 900/1800/1900 MHz Triband instead of 850/1800/1900 MHz Triband.

@ Shashank,
Both the 6101 and 6102 for the United States are Tri-band GSM 850/1800/1900 MHz. http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/6102/0,7747,feat:1,00.html
